Every time I do any thing I think about the statement “How you do anything is how you do everything”. I first heard it from Rebecca Fine in the Practical Genuises Course.

After thinking about it for about a year I know that it’s true. How you do any thing is reflected in every thing you do. Don’t believe me? Take a look around you right now. How does your desk look? Is it tidy? Then probablly your kitchen is also tidy and vice versa.

It’s back to the same thing. It’s all about the pictures we have. See your self all tidied up and uncluttered? Or are you hanging onto clutter? If your outside world is cluttered with goodies you can be quite sure your mind is also cluttered.

My recommendation is a double clearing process. Go through your entire house and throw out every thing you don’t need. Don’t keep things just for being sentimental - that’s a feeling that lives in you, it’s not a thing. Once you’ve cleared your physical surroundings go through your head space. What have you got there that you don’t need any more? Get rid of it.

How you do your money matter things may be the same way you do other things. Pay attention. You will see it is true - how you do any thing is how you do every thing.

The idea about tithing is to give 10% of everything you earn to your spiritual teacher. This is to be seen as your commitment of acknowleding the universe / God / First Cause as your provider. My point is that it shouldn’t stress you, it shouldn’t be a kind of action which you feel you have to do because other wise you will be punished.

It is old wisdom that says one should give what ever one wants. So for example if you want happiness then give happiness. But one can’t give until one has. But I noticed that in giving happiness it made me extremely happy. An example is giving time to my children and just being silly with them. Makes them laugh and that in turn makes me laugh. It’s a catchy thing.

Don’t make lame excuses. Give from the heart in joy. Only that kind of giving counts.

Actually this was going to be a brief posting about the pleasure of buying a Mercedes Benz and landed up being a tribute to Janis Joplin. My stories of people and things are always some how related to the law of attraction.

This became a mini Janis Joplin tribute because I’m in for a new car and this time I really thought about what I wanted and had a good look around on the internet first. There are some stunningly gorgeous little vroom vrooms on the market. Little two seaters. What fun! But I’m a mom with twins so I need something big. Well I got my heart set on a Mercedes SLC class. Kind of conservative but still looks appealing and has serious motor stuff.Hey I don’t no much about technicalities but it all looks good, and that’s when I remembered Janis Joplin and her song Oh Lord won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz…

I have become so intensly aware of the power of words. I can recognise what people are thinking and what their attitude is just by listening to what they say.

I don’t profess to be a mind reader but the words that people use just whilst talking about anything reveal heaps of information about them. For example I have a friend that gets off on hand bags and shoes. She says with out thinking, “Oh my God, that bag is to die for”. Well sure it’s a nice bag, but I wouldn’t want to die for it. I’d rather live to enjoy it - get what I’m trying to explain?

This friend is actually quite wealthy on a financial level. She inherited a decent sum of money, some valuable property and could choose to be happy if she wanted. Yet she’s dying for hand bags, whining about love affairs gone wrong. I always get the feeling she is looking for some thing. Her words tell me that and sure enough the state of her life prooves those words.

Another example is people often say No pain, no gain. Why do people believe that? IT’s possible to earn loads of boodle with out suffering. Ask Richard Branson, now he’s a FUN guy. He just doesn’t see any pain.

I read this great little parable by an unknown author:

A parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule. The mule fell into the farmer’s well. The farmer heard the mule ‘braying’ - or - whatever mules do when they fall into wells. After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving. Instead, he called his neighbors together and told them what had happened…and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery.

Initially, the old mule was hysterical! But as the farmer and his neighbors continued shoveling and the dirt hit his back…a thought struck him. It suddenly dawned on him that every time a shovel load of dirt landed on his back…HE SHOULD SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP! This he did, blow after blow.

“Shake it off and step up…shake it off and step up…

shake it off and step up!” he repeated to encourage himself.

No matter how painful the blows, or distressing the situation seemed the old mule fought “panic” and just kept right on SHAKING IT OFF AND STEPPING UP!

You’re right! It wasn’t long before the old mule, battered and exhausted, STEPPED TRIUMPHANTLY OVER THE WALL OF THAT WELL! What seemed like it would bury him, actually blessed him…all because of the manner in which he handled his adversity.

THAT’S LIFE! If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity…THE ADVERSITIES THAT COME ALONG TO BURY US USUALLY HAVE WITHIN THEM THE POTENTIAL TO BENEFIT AND BLESS US! Remember that FORGIVENESS–FAITH–PRAYER– PRAISE and HOPE…all are excellent ways to “SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP” out of the wells in which we find ourselves!

I found the most amazing video on YouTube.

It is so incredibly sensitive.

For me it’s an interpretation of what happens when you’re not true to yourself and are going after false dreams.

I love this kind of stuff. It gives me so much to think about. And it also teaches me that us as humans are so incredibly creative. It does not matter which method you use. Modern things like movie making and animation allow so much freedom in expression.

I am humbled and grateful by the power of our magnificence.

Being a mother is quite an adventure I dare say.

It’s a challenge too.

No body on this earth has made me discover the emotions within me like my twin teenage daughters. I have gone from feeling of such tender and exquisite love to hostility.

Talk about abundance!

My cherry tree is over loaded with gorgeous cherrys.

Eating them fresh off the tree is the greatest. Yesterday my friend was here and we had a wonderful day standing under the tree, popping cherrys into our mouths and at the same time talking about God and opportunity.

As you know there is tons of opportunity out there. It just depends where you are looking or if you’re even able to see it.

The other advantage of eating cherrys is that they are vitamin bombs.

Want to get all fresh, inspired and sexy?

Eat a bowl of cherrys. Or even better just eat them fresh off the tree!

If you’re my age you may remember that wonderful tune by Bobby McFerrin. It was titled, “Don’t worry, be happy.”

I know that in truth it’s often easier said than done, but hey you can learn to take charge of your emotions. They don’t have to control you. You are FREE to choose what ever you want when ever you want.

I watch this wonderful video so often, cause it just makes me so damn happy.

It’s a real mood enhancer. Yeah!

It’s old but it’s good.

My kids think I’m a square for getting off on that kind of stuff!
