Doing research in google trends I noticed that people are looking for information on how to get sexy. It got me questioning what exactly did they want to know about it. They could be keeping watch for how to get sexy legs, hair, figure, teeth looking out on how to get sexy attitude in general.
I decided to first research the word sex in the dictionary. Seriously I never looked up that word before – I always took it for granted that the word meant coitus but I found out the following:
The dictionary describes the word sex as a noun and it means :
-either the male or female division of a species, esp. as differentiated with reference to the reproductive functions.
- the sum of the structural and functional differences by which the male and female are distinguished, or the phenomena or behavior dependent on these differences.
- the instinct or attraction drawing one sex toward another, or its manifestation in life and conduct.
The word Coitus is listed underneath the above phrases with a link to the explanation of the coitus word.
Then I examined the word sexy.
And found this – sex-y – adjective, sex – i - er, sex – i - est
- concerned predominantly or excessively with sex; risqué: a sexy novel.
- sexually interesting or exciting; radiating sexuality: the sexiest professor on campus.
- excitingly appealing; glamorous: a sexy new car.
I’m assuming then that folks are wanting to establish how to get sexy so they come across as excitingly appealing to other people. Let’s get honest here people that are excitingly appealing to other people do have more success in life.
But what makes is a person sexy then?
Magazines are full of ideas on how to get sexy.
An example is that womens magazines claim that a mane of long hair is sexy for men and mens magazines suggest that a six pack is sexy for women.
I like to believe I’m a worldly woman so from my point of view more brawn than brains won’t cut it for me.
Let’s take Richard Branson as an example – he doesn’t have a six pack, but he sure isn’t physically ugly. I love what Ivana Trump said about him, “Richard is good looking and very smart, which is sexy to start with. He also makes a billion dollars before breakfast. And still knows how to have fun”. Having had the privilege and honour of working with Sir Richard Branson on his virgin money launch in South Africa I agree whole heartedly with her.
My personal recommendations on how to get sexy: (Opinions vary but I will consider you sexy if you can master these tips!)
- Cultivate your personality.
- Develop a sense of humour.
- Dress so that your individual style shines out – sexy does not mean sleazy.
- Get rich – forget what you were taught. Just to make it clear I would like to mention that some people have the idea that being poor is what God wants. This is wrong . In the Bible it says “Thou shalt not love money more than God”. Once you realise that money is merely a means of exchange and does not smell either bad or good you are on the way to becoming sexy..
- Get healthy - excuse the cliché but your body is the house of your soul.
- Stop whining – it brings every body down.
- Quit cigarettes – yuck, they stink. The smell of old ashtray clings even more too expensive after shave and perfume.
- Stay sober - Being drunk is no excuse for getting sexy and doing something that’s regrettable in the morning.
- Be a friend, Zig Ziglar, one of America’s leading coaches in the personal development industry is quoted to have said “If you go looking for a friend, you’re going to find they’re very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you’ll find them everywhere”.
- Get a grip on your thoughts: whether you believe it or not your thoughts make you into the person you are. Thoughts become words and words become your character.
- Think before you speak. Regardless how sexy someone appears to be – if the lingo shocks you all sex appeal is gone instantaneously.
- Walk your talk
How to get sexy is easy when you know who you are and what you want.

Uuuugghhh….doesn’t surprise me that people have so many ailments considering what they put into their bodies.

Let’s take a quick look at the difference of cooked cocoa powder and raw cocoa powder which is the essential ingredient in chocolatey things.
Producers use different ORAC units in their marketing, which result in confusion when one is comparing one ORAC score to another.
ORAC simply means Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity
An example to illustrating a popular confusion: both dark cocoa powder and the goji berry (the goji berry is a superfood from China) are high on the ORAC scale. Natural cocoa powder pinnacles the list with a score of 26,000. The goji berry rates mightily, with a score frequently found on the internet of 25,300. But what is creating confusion amongst end users is that the cocoa powder and the goji ORAC ratings are for 100 grams! That’s more than an average serving. If you calculate the ORAC units per gram you quickly see that dark cocoa powder is at 260 and goji is 253.
Not bad, but that’s nothing compared to the gigantic 955 ORAC Units found in each gram of raw organic cacao powder!

Would you believe there are a whole lot of chocolate health benefits growing on trees right now? The sought after cocoa bean which is indigenous to Africa and South America should be eaten in it’s naked raw form for the ultimate chocolate experience.

Raw chocolate fondue recipe
Half a cup of almond butter
Half a cup of raw cocoa nibs
1 cup of agave nectar
Inch of a vanilla bean
Half a teaspoon of salt
First mix the almond butter and raw cocoa nibs together. Hand mixing works just fine.
Then add the agave nectar.
Cut the inch of vanilla bean length ways and scrape out the seeds.
Add the vanilla and salt.
Fold into the mixture and keep mixing till you have a creamy consistency.
Strawberries and other fruit chunks can de dipped into the divine chocolate mixture.
Great fun for the family – and radiate in a chocolate health aura!

Stop anxiety by putting an end to those nasty feelings that creep up on you and turn you into mush.
If you’ve suffered anxiety for years or even decades, you know that it takes only a fleeting thought to throw you into the anxiety pits.

Affirm new statements into your soul and mind. Tell yourself uplifting things like, “I’m free of imprisoning thoughts.”
Now you may be accusing me of positive thinking woo woo stuff which never got you any where. You’ve read all the silly literature about comforting your inner child and you still feel tense. Well that’s because just reading about it won’t help. You have to genuinely want to change and then take some sort of action. And changing your thoughts is an action. It’s enough action to change a whole lot of conditions.
Easier said than done?
Yes. You can record yourself affirming the things you’d like and hear your own voice telling you all is fine. Or even better get a CD of statements that have been recorded professionally and played over a background of relaxing music using binaural beats to get the message home. It may seem like woo woo nonsense but I promise it works because all anxiety originates in your cerebral area. That’s all it is. Thinking about your anxiety will only worsen things and make you more anxious.
You can stop anxiety and you should stop anxiety so you can have a life.

That was the first time I realized each person creates the inner peace or discord that flows out into the world. We cannot create world peace if we are riddled with inner conflict, hatred, doubt, or anger. We radiate the feelings and thoughts that we hold inside, whether we speak them or not. Whatever is splashing around inside of us is spilling out into the world, creating beauty or discord with all other circles of life.
