lightningA little girl walked daily to and from school. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trip to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning.

The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school, and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child.

Following the roar of thunder, lightning, through the sky and full of concern, the mother quickly got in her car and drove along the route to her child’s school.

As she did so, she saw her little girl walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up and smile. Another and another were to follow quickly, each with the little girl stopping, looking up and smiling.

Finally, the mother called over to her child and asked, “What are you doing?”

The child answered, smiling, “God just keeps taking pictures of me.”

goldenegg1. Get Out of Scarcity Mode

I know it’s not so easy to get out of scarcity mode, when you keep feeling like you haven’t got enough. If you feel you haven’t got enough money, health, security, food, petrol, etc then it’s damn difficult. I know I’ve een there (sigh of relief).

The thing is if you keep concentrating on what you haven’t got enough of you’ll stay in that place. So begin to expand and see what you have got that is enough. I find going into my garden always uplifts me. I hear the birds chirping merrily, see the cat soaking up the rays of sun, the tulips coming into bloom and than I know everything is okay. I see the huge blue sky above me and know there is plenty of that.

Beware – if you catch yourself feeling jealous over somebody else’s good luck, possesions, looks, relationships or what ever it means you believe there’s not enough for you. This is a sign that you’re in scarcity mode.

2. Say Thank You

Now that you’ve found things that there are enough of say thanks. It seems corny at first but does amazing things for your state of mind. By saying thanks for what you have, your focus is shifted to another place. Now you get a gap to feel better. By feeling better your whole attitude is positive. Only then can you allow more good to come your way.

3. Stop Judgeing

Making judgements about those rich bastard bank managers who ruined everything and then still got a fat payout is no good. Stop it!

I know, how easy it is to judge. I  catch myself doing it. It’s like Oh My God that woman is so fat, she must eat a lot of crap. I wonder why she doesn’t educate herself on food. She must hate being that fat. She doesn’t respect her body or love herself, no wonder she looks so grumpy. See where this is going?

Instead you could be focusing on what you’re doing. And besides who are we to judge some one else?

4. Be selective about what you entertain yourself with.

Huh?

Yip don’t sit in front of the idiot box, just watching anything for the sake of entertainment. Seriously the stuff you watch and read has a serious impact on your emotions. If you’re watching negative and trashy stuff don’t be surprised if your life turns out that way. Same goes for music.  Me I don’t want to live the blues so I don’t listen to them – even though I love them! Yes I used to listen to the blues a lot and lived the blues.

5. Know What You Want

Believe it or not this is often the hardest part!

Let me ask you something?

Would you go into a restaurant and ask the waiter to bring you anything? Maybe – but you’d be dissapointed if  what he bought you didn’t taste nice.

So if you know you want to be rich so you can educate your kids, own your house, give money to World Wild Life Fund, buy healthy food, drive a porsche and see the great wall of China you have a target. And it’s much easier to aim when you have a target. Also you can begin to imagine yourself doing and owning all that.  When you live things out in your mind first you can get a taste of what it’s like and enjoy the feeling.

Sadly most people don’t really know what they want out of life and leave it up to destiny to just dish out what ever.

6. Take Action

We all know you have to do something to make something happen. It doesn’t mean you have to work your butt off. But you must take action. By taking action you are proving to yourself that you believe in what you’re doing. And once you start believing and doing – that’s when magic happens.

7. Take a Prosperity Course

Oh no not another self development come law of attraction Guru! Can’t stand those myself.

But I can recommend Rebecca Fine from the Science of Getting Rich Networks, Prosperity Course plus get a FREE copy of  The Science of Getting Rich Ebook. This book isn’t aboout investments, tax havens, mlm, adsense, blogging or copy writing. Nope it’s about a mind set. The best part is that you choose what to pay for taking the prosperity course which is based on the EBook, The Science of Getting Rich.

So if right now you can’t afford big bucks, 10 dollars will get you in!How amazing is that?

Just by the way, I feel obliged to tell you that some big names have done the course.  Heeeelllllllooooo, does the name Rhonda Byrnes, from The Secret ring a bell? Or Sandy Forster who wnet from social welfare to millionaire within 4 years.

Yes I’ve done it too and keep referring to my notes as membership lasts a life time.

monitorWe all know that video says a lot – I mean afterall so many more sense are involved than just reading. Now one can actually see and hear.

I come from the film industry – in my life time I have shot hundreds of professional commercials for Mercedes, BMW, Coco-cola, toilet paper, pizza, washing powder and lawn mowers.

These shoots were all done on a big budget with a full film crew. my responsibility was the art department – which meant preparing the set and organising the props. And as we all know time is money. So I had to be prepared down to the last detail so that on shooting day in the studios we could roll. Inevitably the producer would always be on edge because going overtime cost big bucks.

These days anyone can shoot a video with the simplest means and achieve fantastic results.

Being a curious person I did 2 videos – both of the same product I’m promoting.

I really believe in this product as I use it and swear by the results. I did one video being creative, using strong imagery and sound effects. The 2nd video I filmed myself, being natural, talking about the CD’s.

Watch both videos. Which one do you think gets the most results?

The 2nd video gets the most results which prooves you don’t need editing skills, a budget or a film crew!

I use Traffic Geyser to distribute videos all over the web. It beats uploading all the videos yourself. Plus there are great tutorials and other tools to help you. If you follow the instructions exactly as they are explained you have a recipe for instant success.

hypeI just read on Seth Godin’s blog, you are reading Seth’s blog I hope, that fat salaries are a marketing hype.

It’s much like what the head hunters do. They offer jobs in the classified sections that don’t really exist. I know this because my friend is a well known head hunter.

They do this to create a successful image to the competition. Also because they like to have a pool of talent on their books for just in case.

It seems pretty unfair – you spend hours updating your resume. Organising a fresh pic of yourself . And also getting your hopes up. But zero in on reality the job doesn’t exist.

It’s the same with the fat salaries – those companies believe they won’t get talent if they don’t pay well. Quite ridiculous really. It just prooves that people are so locked up in their competitve thinking which is based on fear. Fear of being a looser, fear of landing up in the poor house. Fear of  being a nobody.  Who wants to be a nobody?

Even for a seasoned self observer of my thoughts and actions I find myself slipping into the competitive mode at times.  I know I’ve entered that mode when I get that anxious feeling. I’m just so pleased I’ve learnt to recognise it and can get out of there quickly.

Truth is I don’t really spend time politicising and complaining. I’ve been there, done that and know that just leads to frustration.

Actually I don’t care how much the bankers are getting paid, even if it is my tax money. I’ve got to pay it anyway and if the government thinks thats what they have to do with my money, well then I’ll be looking out for another party to vote for at election time. In the meanwhile I’m happy that I’m not caught up in any bodys plan. And seriously I’d rather be in a position to pay tax than not pay any. It tells me I’m earning money and not dependant on hand outs.

And by the way if you want to learn about how to rid yourself of  fear based competitve thinking then go to Rebecca Fine’s Science of Getting Rich Network, get the FREE Science of Getting Rich Book, and do the 30 day prosperity course. Honestly, it’s a great beginners course on mastering the law of attraction. It’s all based on Wallace Wattles Science of Getting Rich. The best part about it is that you choose what to pay. Yip you choose. So you decide if you’re paying 10 bucks or 2000.  If that isn’t fair then I don’t know what is.

greenDang!

Actually I wanted to title this post – “I fucked up.” because I did in a big way.

As you know I interviewed Marie Forleo who is launching her Rich, Happy & Hot Mastery programme on the 17th March 2009. She’ll be working closely with people for 10 months showing them all the tricks of the trade. This is as good as gets as far as having a personal life coach holding you by the hand and showing you the way for becoming Rich, Happy and Hot.

Seriously who doesn’t want to be Rich, Happy and Hot?

I know it sounds too good to be true. But you see that’s the problem most people think that it’s just not possible and settle into a life of quiet desperation.

Me, I’m just not cut out for desperation of any sort – quiet or loud. Desperation sucks.

But now let me get to the point why I nearly titled this post – I fucked up. Well because I damn forget to press the record button when I interviewed Marie Forleo.

What can I say? I feel totally pissed at myself. Not only that it was such a great interview Marie told me she’s all about living in the now. Don’t waste time thinking about the past and having anxiety attacks about the future. What for? The past is over  – you never gonna get it back and the future still has to come. But if you live in the now you’ll be here and present and the future won’t be something you have to worry about.

Mari who’s also a good looking woman revealed that her looks better idf she doesn’t wash it so much! I like that – too many of us are caught up in media hype about cosmetics that promise to make us shinier, brighter and sexier. Well if you ain’t shining from the inside nothing is gonna fix that.

We also spoke about something one of my mentors taught me: How you do anything is how you do everything.

When you are confronthed with that statement, denial takes over.  On reflection I know it’s true. How you do anything is how you do everything – so think about that for a while.

So anyway here’s a vid of me seething at myself:

Remember you only have till the 17th March 2009 to join the programme so hurry along. At least check it out. It’s affordable.

RICH, HAPPY & HOT

hummerI’m involved with a company called Tempel Entertainment in Austria.

We organise fat clubbings and give away even fatter prizes.

The last prize was to be picked up in a hummer, together with 4 friends from home and to be taken in a limosuine to the clubbing.

The dude who won the prize lives in a real one horse town. He was picked up outside the church so the chaffeur could park and turn around.

His buddies were picked up along the way.

I’m the one in the orange handing out the champagne to the winners.

At the end of the vid you’ll see my daughters handing out another prize of an iphone.

Depending on whether we get permission from the council, next prize will be to arrive in a helicopter!

flat_tyreMy tire had a staple in it. Of all times for this to happen
– a flat tire. But when is a good time for a flat tire? Not when you are wearing a suit and you have been traveling for nearly five hours, and adding to this bleak picture, nightfall is approaching. Wait, did I mention that I was on a country road? Okay, now you have the picture. There was only one thing to do: call for help. Yeah, right. The cell phone I bought for security and protection in moments like this isn’t in range to call anyone. “No Service” it says. No kidding! I sat for a few minutes moaning and complaining.

It’s a male thing. Then I began emptying my trunk so that I could get at the tire and tools needed to get the job done.
I carry a large plastic container filled with what I call “just-in-case-stuff.” When I am training or speaking, I love to have props with me. I hate leaving anything home so I bring everything …just in case. Cars buzz by me. A few beep sarcastically. I hear the horn saying “ha ha!” I say, “You’ll get yours!”

Darkness begins to settle in. It’s becoming a bit difficult to see. The tire is on the passenger side, thank God, away from all the traffic, but making it difficult to benefit from the headlights of passing cars. Suddenly a car pulls off the road behind me. In the blinding light I see a male figure approaching me.

“Hey, do you need any help?”

“Well, it certainly isn’t easy doing this with a white dress shirt and suit on,” I said. Then he steps into the light. I literally was frightened. This young guy was dressed in black. Nearly everything imaginable was pierced and tattooed. His hair was cropped and poorly cut. He had leather bracelets with spikes on each wrist.

“How about I give you a hand?” he said.

“Well, I don’t know . . . I think I can . . . ”

“Come on, it will only take me a few minutes.” He took right over. While watching him I happened to look back at his car and noticed for the first time someone sitting in the passenger seat. That concerned me. I suddenly felt outnumbered. Thoughts of car-jackings and robberies flashed through my mind. I really just wanted to get this over and survive it. Then, without warning, it began to pour. The night sky had hidden the approaching clouds. It hit like a waterfall and made it impossible to finish the tire change.

“Look, my friend, just stop what you’re doing. I appreciate all your help. You better get going. I’ll finish after the rain stops,” I said.

“Let me help you put your stuff back in the trunk. It will get ruined,” he insisted. “Then get in my car. We’ll wait with you,” he insisted.

“No, really. I’ll take care of everything,” I said.

“You can’t get in your car with the jack up like that. It will fall. Come on. Get in,” he said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the car. Crack! Boom! Lightning and thunder roared like a freight train. I literally jumped in his car. “Oh, God, protect me!” I thought to myself. Wet and tired I settled into the back seat.

Suddenly a small frail voice came from the front seat of the car. “Are you all right?” she said as she turned around to face me.

“Yes, I am,” I replied with much relief seeing the old woman there. It must be his Mom.

“My name is Beatrice and this is my neighbor Jeff,” she said. “He insisted on stopping when he saw you struggling with the tire.”

“I am grateful for his help,” I said.

“Me, too!” she said with a laugh. “Jeff takes me to visit my husband. We had to place him in a nursing home and it’s about 30 minutes away from where we live. So, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we have a date.” She laughed and shook her head.

“We’re the remake of the Odd Couple,” Jeff said as he joined in laughing.”

“Jeff, that’s incredible what you do for her. I would never have guessed, well, ah, you know I . . .” I stumbled with the words.

“I know. People who look like me don’t do nice things,” he said. Silence. I really felt uncomfortable. I never believed that I judged people by the way they dressed. I was angry with myself for being so stupid.

“Jeff is a great kid. I’m not the only one he helps. He’s a volunteer at our church. He also works with the kids in the learning center at the low income housing unit in our town,”
said Beatrice.

“I’m a tutor” Jeff said quietly as he stared at my car.
Silence again played a part now in a moment of reflection rather than the uncomfortable feeling that I had insulted someone. He was right. What he wore on the outside was a reflection of the world as he saw it. What he wore on the inside was the spirit of giving, caring and loving the world he wanted to see. The rain stopped and Jeff and I changed the tire. I tried to offer him money and, of course, he refused it. As we shook hands I began to apologize for my stupidity.

He said, “I experience that same reaction often. I actually thought about changing the way I look. But then I saw this as an opportunity to make a point.”

Marie Forleo

Marie Forleo

I guess I am leaving this announcement to the last minute, which is a reason to slap me.

I don’t reckon you are gonna be all that busy on a normal Tuesday evening. But I could be wrong.

I’m inviting you to come and partake in a live interview with Marie Forleo.

I’ll fill you in on who she is just in case you haven’t heard about her yet.

Marie Forleo is a successful business woman, choreographer, life coach and author. She wrote the book, “Make every man want you.”

She’s about to launch her Rich, Happpy and Hot programme which lasts all of 10 months where she takes you by the hand and shows you step for step how to build up a profitable business. Online.

We need more women mentors – the internet marketing scene is dominated by males.

Yours truly – me: Claudia is going to interview her.

To see a video of me and register for the interview click HERE.

laserworldHey,

You know I’m just such a soppy thing sometimes, especially when it comes to animals.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned that I’m vegan because I just can’t possibly think of eating them just to saitisfy my tastebuds. And truth is I feel darn healthy and have been told I look fantastic – I am 46 in about 45 days and stilll wear the same size from 20 years ago.

But actually I just wanted to show you this lovely video.

Don’t you think it’s gorgeous too?

And while we’re on the subject let’s talk about Louis Armstrong who was a man that came from a poor background in an era where racism was acceptable. Loius had to enter through the back door to come and play for the people who were eager to hear his music. Miles Davis revealed the same treatment in his autobigraphy.

Even though he had all odds stacked against him he became a world star. Every where in the world every one knew who Satchmo was. He put his heart into his music.

Here’s the same wonderful world video again but this time minus bambi. Check out Loui’s face, you can see with what passion he is singing.

So the point is if you dream it and take action you can do it. Louis didn’t just dream about playing the trumpet and singing songs. He picked up his trumpet and blew into it. He sang songs. He was unstoppable.  He was authentic down to the last DNA cell in his body.

You and me we can make more of ourselves. Every day is another start, another opportunity.

Sadly most people have been misguided, given false information.

Take a talented kid that loves drawing and painting. He wants to become an artist. At home and at school he is told, “Don’t be ridiculous, you’ll never make a living like that. Who do you think you are anyway? Picasso?” So the kid forgets about his paintbox and struggles through school forcing formulas into his brain that he couldn’t care less about. He lands up with a hum drum job, earning enough so he can uphold the status quo of the system. A cog in the machine.

Truth be said, Picassos painting wasn’t THAT marvellous – that’s why so many envious people said, “I don’t get it, this guy is earning millions and my 4 year old could scribble that together.” Well that’s it – they just don’t get it. Having a passion and giving up your need to always be right about everything goes a long way. Picasso felt he derserved millions – he really wasn’t hung up about it.

If you haven’t already read Stuart Lichtman’s Book – How to make money for anything fast – you are missing out. I know the title seems so how can i say? Cheesy? – but watch out because inside is a whole course on coming to terms with where you are now, who you really are, and a plan to overcome all the excuses and bullshit that is the way. It’s excellent, at least be brave enough to sign up for the FREE Mini Course.

money_grabberSeth Godin talks about get rich fast schemes for people who want to get rich fast.

It is true these poor people buy into every scheme possible, borrowing money from relatives because they believe this will the next big thing that will teach them how to get rich fast quickly.

I’m amazed that people can be so gullible. My logic tells me you can’t get rich, let alone get rich fast by stuffing envelopes or wiring jewellery together. Common. There is manual work involed in that. Not for me – I’m far too lazy. Besides I already know that is trading time for dollars and that does not insure instant riches.

But I’ll admit when I first heard about the Science of Getting Rich and The Secret I was so yippy skippy that I sat down and visualised till the cows came home. I got clear on what i wanted. I felt myself being rich. Nothing happened. nada.

The point is you have to take action of some kind. I knew that stuffing envelopes was not for me but I did know being rich is very much for me.

Even though I knew in my heart I had to do something – I was’t sure what I had to do to get the ball rolling. Due to me not wanting to do not do any menial job because inside of me I knew that I din’t coem here to just be a cog in the machine – uphold the system. I’ve always felt too special – so I guess a kind of procrastination had set in which kept me dreaming but poor.

One day I had stumbled across something that had the cheesy title, “How to Get Lots Of Money for Anything Fast“. I thought to myself no, not another scheme, yet I couldn’t help reading the long sales letter and getting more convinced than ever before that I really needed this How to Get Lots of Money Fast Ebook. Besides it had all these testimonials be people like Jack Canefield, you know the author of  Chicken Soup for the Soul. And David Garfinkel the author of eBook Secrets Exposed. I thought to myself if these guys that are obviously rich and recommending this book then I MUST get this too.

I’ll admit the book has visualisation stufff in it. It went even further into me visualising actually doing something. It even had me visualing measuring my success! It had me take such a deep look at what was causing my inaction and fear that I was able to get into real productive action.

The productive action then began bringing in finacial rewards and I was having fun doing it!

Seth Godin is so right when he says it seems as though some people are just opportunity seekers and not oppoertunity finders.

Don’t get caught up in sales letters that promise to make you get rich fast by doing measly jobs. Take action on your dreams. One step a day goes a long way.
