Very simply put:
Money is a reward you receive for the service you render.
The actual ink and paper the money is printed on is worthless.
The piece of paper with the print on it is a perceived value.
It’s the perfect means of exchange.
I for one am glad that we do not operate in a bartering system. I like giving service for money – I don’t want cows or shells.
Of course there are still indegineous people that don’t have a money system. They are all part of the commmnuity and every one does their part to ensure that the community survives. One does the hunting – the others build the shelter, others look after the children etc. Whilst this may seem like a cosy arrangement I wouldn’t enjoy it. I feel as an individual I have a right to live my life doing what I like. (Granted I’ve been born into a modern civilisation and can’t imagine not having that choice, and that my friend is one thing I am very grateful for.)
A lot of people think that money is bad but secretly would like a bit more of the evil stuff.
They will tell you that the bible says money is bad – I’ve read the bible cover to cover and can’t find that any where. It merely says to love God more than anything else so in other words don’t love money more than God.
Money used to be an elusive thing for me before I understood about the Law of Attraction.
I don’t want to go into a whole law of attraction thing now but let’s just say that money is the best coupon to have.
Money = Choice.
Yeah so you can’t buy happiness and love bla bla…
Seriously how nice does it feel when you can’t buy things for those you love, like maybe your children?
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not all into crazy consumerism – my kids don’t have iphones and 75 pairs of jeans and tons of crap.
Firstly because I despise clutter and secondly all that stuff really does not make you happy
But I do have FUN with my kids and that can sometimes cost a bit of money, and those private schools and those trips. You get me?
So whilst money doesn’t buy you a state of being like happiness it does give you access to experiences and stuff.
But aah the initial question how do you get more money?
Okay so this is going to seem cheesy but it works.
Get your whole mind, body and spirit to be one with the idea of having the money you want.
Honestly I mean it – for years I struggled with receiving money because in my subconscious mind I was not clear about what I wanted, let alone be in harmony with what I wanted. Of course I didn’t know that was my problem – I believed it was every body elses fault. Typical victim mentality.
If you are serious about getting a lot of money fast then I highly recommend Stuart Lichtman’s Book: How to Get Lots Of Money for Anything Fast.
Don’t let the title put you off.
There were so many good raves about this book, including people like Jack Canefield – you know the ultra famous dude who put togther Chicken Soup for the Soul.
I thought to myself what with the 60 day money back guarantee I have nothing to loose – I may as well give it my best shot.
Now I’ll be perfectly honest you have to work this book – infact it is like a workbook. You have to go inside yourself, discover what you want, write things down and do the follow up exercises or you will fail and not get what you want. That’s what happened to me the first time round. But if you follow the instruction you’ll get the money you want. As I said before the reason people don’t get what they want is because not all of their mind and body has the same idea. Doing the exercises Stuart gives you in this book will sort that issue out.

I’ve moved into a new head space .
Years ago when I was feeling as blue as can be – I don’t mean that in a pornagraphic way, I found a website called The Science of Getting Rich Networks. This was a couple of weeks before The Secret surfaced and took over the Law of Attraction scenario.
At that stage of my life things were looking pretty rough for me. I had moved to another country. (Yip I now know for sure that you take yourself with you.) I had no contacts and found myself in a deep hole. I was in a constant state of lack, in other words, not having enough of anything. (Or so I thought.)
I downloaded The Science of Getting Rich and promptly left it to gather cyberdust on my computer. Ever done that?
Anyways after falling even deeper into my hole I remembered that book. I blew off the cyberdust and began to read.
I was overwhelmed with relief when I read those Scienceog Getting Rich words. This wasn’t about SEO, Blogging, Adsense, Internet Marketing, MLM or anything like that. It was all about attaining a prosperous mindset. It was good but it wasn’t so easy to implement- I mean years of doing what I’d been doing made it down right hard to believe that I can become a genuise or rich.
But wait a minute – my beady eye spotted The Practical Genuises Course at a price which was so affordable I couldn’t resist. And by affordable I mean choosing what you want to pay! Where in the world do you get such an offer? At auctions? Nah, somebody can outbid you and then you ain’t got the goods.
The Practiacl Genuises Course opened my mind to a whole lot of new possibilities. And my life has changed some. New opportunities surfaced for which I’ll admit the internet has been largely responsible.
In the practical geniuses course you get a whole lot of interesting scripts and life labs. Life lab being an apt name.

The thing is that these life labs are life changing – you realise that there is another way of viewing the world.
With this new vision and new thinking comes success.
Why not try it out for yourself?

It’s worth every penny and then some!
In the late 1800s, an Italian sociologist and engineer, Vilfredo Pareto, became known for his controversial theory that alleged the superiority of the “elite” class. That unfortunate (and now discredited) theory was used to shore up the ideology of fascism which brought misery to millions.
But he was also known for applying mathematical principles in the realms of sociology and economics, and while his now-refuted “law” of the “trivial many” and the “significant few” holds no meaning for us in terms of the value of human beings, at least one of Pareto’s ideas does still hold water in other areas.
You may know “The Pareto Principle” by its more familiar name, “the 80/20 Rule.”
Simply put, the 80/20 Rule — as we use it today — says that 80% of your return will come from 20% of your effort. For example, in business this can mean that 80% of your income derives from 20% of your customer base. Or that 80% of your revenue can be traced to just 20% of your sales force.
Think about all the ways the 80/20 Rule applies: About 80% of all small businesses fail within their first couple of years, so you could say that 80% of all small business SUCCESS comes from 20% of all new small businesses. (And the subject of WHY so many fail is something we’ll cover in the near future. My view is that most fail before they even begin, lacking knowledge and understanding of the principles we’ve discovered in The Science of Getting Rich.)
How about in your own job or business — or in other areas of your life? Can you see that 80% of the results come from 20% of your input? I don’t know if Wallace Wattles (the author of the amazing forgotten 1910 classic, The Science of Getting Rich) had ever heard of Pareto, but let’s take a look at how the 80/20 Rule might be useful in implementing Mr. Wattles’ notion of “Efficient Action.” First, though, some more fascinating 80/20 facts.
Back in the 1960s, thousands of insurance salespeople for Metropolitan Life, a big company here in the U.S., took part in a study that demonstrated this rule. The study found that, yes, 20% of the agents produced 80% of all sales.
But they took the study a step further and scrutinized that top 20%. And guess what? The rule held there, too. In fact, the top 20% of THAT top 20% of all salespeople were making 32 times as much as the average of the sales reps in the bottom 80%!
And what do you think they found out about the top 20% of that group making 32 times the average?
The people in THAT top 20% were making 54 times more than the people in the bottom 80%!
What was it that made the difference? It wasn’t that this cream of the crop was 54 times smarter or worked that much harder. And they obviously didn’t have 54 times as much education or experience.
What made the difference was that the people reaping the biggest rewards had learned to pay attention and keep track of WHAT WORKED and made them effective — and what didn’t. They made it a point to do more of the effective things and get rid of the time-, energy-, and resource-wasters.
They were spending 80% of their time on the 20% of their work that produced the biggest results!
Most of them had probably never heard of Mr. Wattles or his work, but they were, nonetheless, practicing Efficient Action regularly. Daily. All the time.
Here’s the thing: If you’d prefer to find yourself in the top 20% (and, yes, you can do that without sinking into competitive mind), take a good, close look at how you spend your time and energy. Without a doubt you’ll find that the most productive, effective, profitable activities ARE probably getting only about 20% of your attention. Which means that you’re spending 80% of your resources on the things that are unproductive, ineffective, and unprofitable.
And by “time” I mean not only the time you spend actually working at your income-producing activities but the time you spend on thinking and acting in the certain way: holding to your clear vision with faith, purpose, and gratitude. Let’s take a quick look at just a couple of the high points in “Efficient Action” — Chapter 12 in The Science of Getting Rich — and see where we stack up.
- Are you “more than filling” your present place — or are you doing only enough to get by? It’s been said that many bosses pay their employees just enough to keep them from quitting and that many employees work just enough to keep from getting fired. If you find yourself in either of those positions, you are NOT ready to rise to a higher level of reward.”Giving more in use value than you take from others in cash value” applies to employees selling their services to their companies as well as to those selling goods or services to customers.
- Are you making the mistake of trying to do too much? These days, being way too busy is almost a badge of honor, but Mr. Wattles warns: “You are not to overwork or to rush blindly into your business in the effort to do the greatest possible number of things in the shortest possible time. … The more things you do, the worse for you, if all your acts are inefficient ones.”
- Are you plagued by the dream-killer, procrastination? “If there is something that may be done today and you do not do it, you have failed insofar as that thing is concerned. And the consequences may be more disastrous than you imagine.”
- Are you neglecting things that may SEEM small and unimportant? “You cannot foresee the results of even the most trivial act. … Your neglect or failure to do some small thing may cause a long delay in getting you what you want.”
- Are your actions strong or weak? Mr. Wattles notes that “when every one is strong, you are acting in the certain way which will make you rich. Every act can be made strong and efficient by holding your vision while you are doing it and by putting the whole power of your faith and purpose into it.”
Over the next 24 hours, why not make it a point to pay attention to where your time goes … how you spend your energy … where you focus your thinking, feelings, and action … and how you notice and respond to the opportunities presented? Make notes throughout the day, keep track, and at the end of the day, see for yourself just how true the 80/20 Rule is — at work, at home, everywhere.
Now, my friend, here’s to your “Totally TOP Twenty Percent” day today and LOTS more of them to come!

Marie Forleo
I guess I am leaving this announcement to the last minute, which is a reason to slap me.
I don’t reckon you are gonna be all that busy on a normal Tuesday evening. But I could be wrong.
I’m inviting you to come and partake in a live interview with Marie Forleo.
I’ll fill you in on who she is just in case you haven’t heard about her yet.
Marie Forleo is a successful business woman, choreographer, life coach and author. She wrote the book, “Make every man want you.”
She’s about to launch her Rich, Happpy and Hot programme which lasts all of 10 months where she takes you by the hand and shows you step for step how to build up a profitable business. Online.
We need more women mentors – the internet marketing scene is dominated by males.
Yours truly – me: Claudia is going to interview her.

Seth Godin talks about get rich fast schemes for people who want to get rich fast.
It is true these poor people buy into every scheme possible, borrowing money from relatives because they believe this will the next big thing that will teach them how to get rich fast quickly.
I’m amazed that people can be so gullible. My logic tells me you can’t get rich, let alone get rich fast by stuffing envelopes or wiring jewellery together. Common. There is manual work involed in that. Not for me – I’m far too lazy. Besides I already know that is trading time for dollars and that does not insure instant riches.
But I’ll admit when I first heard about the Science of Getting Rich and The Secret I was so yippy skippy that I sat down and visualised till the cows came home. I got clear on what i wanted. I felt myself being rich. Nothing happened. nada.
The point is you have to take action of some kind. I knew that stuffing envelopes was not for me but I did know being rich is very much for me.
Even though I knew in my heart I had to do something – I was’t sure what I had to do to get the ball rolling. Due to me not wanting to do not do any menial job because inside of me I knew that I din’t coem here to just be a cog in the machine – uphold the system. I’ve always felt too special – so I guess a kind of procrastination had set in which kept me dreaming but poor.
One day I had stumbled across something that had the cheesy title, “How to Get Lots Of Money for Anything Fast“. I thought to myself no, not another scheme, yet I couldn’t help reading the long sales letter and getting more convinced than ever before that I really needed this How to Get Lots of Money Fast Ebook. Besides it had all these testimonials be people like Jack Canefield, you know the author of Chicken Soup for the Soul. And David Garfinkel the author of eBook Secrets Exposed. I thought to myself if these guys that are obviously rich and recommending this book then I MUST get this too.
I’ll admit the book has visualisation stufff in it. It went even further into me visualising actually doing something. It even had me visualing measuring my success! It had me take such a deep look at what was causing my inaction and fear that I was able to get into real productive action.
The productive action then began bringing in finacial rewards and I was having fun doing it!
Seth Godin is so right when he says it seems as though some people are just opportunity seekers and not oppoertunity finders.
Don’t get caught up in sales letters that promise to make you get rich fast by doing measly jobs. Take action on your dreams. One step a day goes a long way.

I first discovered Mark Joyner through simpleology.
I was skeptical about the Mind Control Marketing Book because the name sounds so evil.
But knowing that Mark is a no nonsense guy and that I’ve never felt that I’ve been ripped off by him I thought what the hell, I don’t think it will be evil.
Mark has sensed that a lot of people might feel that way and writes about that in the first chapter. It is not evil to persuade your customer to choose you over thousands of others. I mean that is what business is right?
I’m a believer in the law of attraction which states you must know what you want and then take the action to get you there. The action part is where many people meet “shipwreck” as the grand daddy Wallace Wattles says in his book The Science of Getting Rich which is the book that everybody, including the wisest of the wise seems to have read. Mind Control Marketing will show you how to effectively put together an irrestible offer. This is not about scamsville. This is so in tune with giving people quality service or product.
I’m glad I invested in the $27 for the book. As usual Mark over delivers.

Today’s article is written by one of my favorite mentors:
Rebecca Fine from the Science of Getting Rich Networks.
Quick! What’s the very first thing that springs into your mind when you read or hear the M-word? (M-o-n-e-y.)
For many people that first thing isn’t necessarily pleasant. And for others there’s a fleeting flicker of delight as they imagine having plenty of it, winning the lottery or the like, which just as quickly fades into a more familiar “not enough” feeling instead.
It’s not surprising. After all, most of us have been carefully trained, taught, even indoctrinated our whole lives to believe that money is scarce, that it’s hard to come by, that only people who have any ever get more, that it’s the cause of all the world’s troubles … and on and on and on.
Loads of heavy baggage packed with negativity on the simple subject of something we really cannot do without.
And it’s all just so SERIOUS and HEAVY and … ugh.
So since we already KNOW that we attract/create our own experience through our thinking, how about we just UNpack some of that mental baggage and ditch some of the seriousness so we can stop creating and attracting more stuff like THAT?
How about we just lighten up and have some FUN with all of this? When you’re having fun your thoughts aren’t focused on lack of anything, right?
(And believe me, when you get the hang of The Science of Getting Rich and start to see your life transforming in amazing ways, it’s FUN!)
For myself, I have decided that whenever the M-word comes up in conversation or my own thinking in any way that doesn’t thoroughly delight me, I am going to quietly, secretly substitute another word — a silly word that has NONE of those negative connotations.
I’ve been doing this for a while now with family and friends, too (not just quietly and secretly), and it’s not only fun, it highlights immediately just how silly all the negativity is.
I highly recommend the practice!
You can choose any word that strikes you as ridiculous. For me, the funniest word in the English language (and I don’t know why) is this:
Underpants.
(I know, I know. Totally juvenile. Pretty much the humor of a seven-year-old. And that’s probably why it works so well!)
Try it for yourself:
“I’d like to have a new car, but I don’t have enough underpants.”
“Invest in THAT? No way! It’s too risky. I could lose all my underpants.”
“Do you think underpants grow on trees?”
“I like the job but the underpants are awful.”
“Underpants can’t buy happiness.”
“He’s got more underpants than he knows what to do with.”
“Never throw good underpants after bad.”
“Underpants aren’t everything, you know.”
“I wouldn’t do that for love nor underpants.”
“Always be sure to save some underpants for a rainy day.”
“No matter how hard I try or what I do, I just NEVER have enough underpants.”
Oh, I could go on and on! In fact, a couple of days ago I introduced this scathingly brilliant concept to my mom and brother, and we sat out on Mom’s patio playing with it until we had tears streaming down our faces from laughing at ourselves so hard.
(I suppose goofiness runs in the family. Later that day when Mom said she was getting ready to throw a load of “delicates” in the washer we accused her of money laundering.)
And my friend Alexandra (Dr. Gayek, founder of The Science of Being Well Network) and I have giggled ourselves silly on the subject of abundance of all kinds by substituting my nutty word for almost ANY word having to do with wealth or health.
Ah, yes: We live in a world of infinite underpants!
But when I told her I was going to share this craziness with you she hesitated a moment and then asked, “Really?”
“Sure,” I said. “We just get so SERIOUS about all this stuff. But you and I both know it’s so much better to let it be FUN.”
“Well, you’re right,” she conceded. “But Rebecca, just try to be … brief.”
Ack.
Yes, she really said that — and cracked herself up laughing. Took me a moment to get it. You know, a pun truly IS the lowest form of humor … ;-D

Internet Maketing, Blogging, You Tube, Web 2.0…..
Seems like just everybody is swinging along making a fortune on the Internet. I’ve only just begun to wake up to the opportunity. Observing and heeding alll the guru advice I realise more and more the incredible chances that are out there. As I mentioned on the Sweetie Blog Frank Kern’s videos have been eye opening. You just need to follow the advice. Dang. So easy you just gotta want it badly enough so that you’ll get off your bum and do it.
Of course it’s not that easy especially when you’re surrounded by skeptics. Those are usually the ones closest to you. The unbelievers – you know the ones that say wake up and get a real job. A job where you trade your time for muney. Possibly even have to leave your home.
Why even have a house and a place you love if you go out to slave away each day? I’ve always wanted something better for myself since I was a kid. I couldn’t accept the information that was being pushed down my throat that “Life sucks and then you die”. That to me just seemed like a cruel joke.
When I spoke about my aspirations the people that were doing their best for me, commonly known as parents (God, I love them) I was told it’s good to learn something which will be useful to society. Don’t get me wrong Dr’s, Teachers, Advertising specialists all have their place. And as for the cruel joke part, I was told to not take it personally. But I did. Very.
I myself was in the advertising and movie industry for years. I’ve had the priviledge of working with wonderful people.
But the stress of being away from home albeit often in the most gorgeous locations was not ideal anymore after 2 miniture people surfaced into my reality.
So going from a job and here and there to sometimes having very little I had to readjust.
Obviously I began searching for information on how to make life more fun and rewarding and to be there for my little mensches. So at about the same time I discovered the metaphysical side of life and the internet dream things looked like life could really be a joy.
I am amazed and grateful for all the excellent information out there. It only requires listening, focusing and implementing the stuff you learn about to see how you can get e-mails telling you you’ve just made a buck. Gotta love it!

I’m not the most focused person on the planet. In fact somes I battle to stay focused. Take small things like Twitter or Facebook. Excellent tools that can be used for marketing, or even blogging. Then why is it so darn difficult to stay focused doing simple things like blogging?
I’m using only myself as an example here. I love writing. I jot down things all the time. Now if I were to type these notes into my blog they’d probabally make for interesting reading. And i dare say that they may even help some individuals have an AHA moment if you know what I mean.
I reckon my biggest blocker is fear. I can’t quite pinpoint the exact fear. Is it the fear of failing, or the fear of coming across like an idiot?
Perhaps I should just stop comparing my creative dribblings to what others do. Some blogs are so well written and informative. Whose to say that mine isn’t, hey? maybe it’s an inferiority complex.
I’ve discovered though that the main thing to staying on target is to get a clear vision of what you want and keep refining that vision until it just feels so perfect that you can’t but help to follow through.
Myself I’ve been blogging on and off for 2 years now. Sometimes in a burst of inspiration I’ll do it regurlary for 2 weeks and then those 2 weeks fade into 2 months. This is not good, these habits need to be dissolved.
I’ve always known that there is a fortune to be made in the internet- okay let’s get real, at least a decent income. An income that can be earned from home. I’ve read all the e-books, joined the membership sites of list building, traffic generating and bla, bla…..
Now it’s about doing it. Just getting a laser sharp focus and DOING it. Just do it.
How does your focus rate?
Some times we loose focus because our vision is not quite on target with what we really want so our subconscious mind keeps us from getting what we want till we hit on the right vision. (I read all this stuff whilst searching for my blockers).
The same principle thats behind procrastination – loosing focus is a form of procrastination. It’s a thing that stops you from going out and striking your target. You know you should be doing something to hit on the target but you don’t. Then you miss your target and you land up feeling like a failure berating your self.

I discovered an amazing e-book by Stuart Lichtman.
The book it’s self has a title which at first came across as kind of cheesy. But I’m so glad that this didn’t hold me back from reading further.
When I began reading testimonials from my favorite mentors I knew I was onto some thing.
In fact I could hardly contain my excitement.  I was happy to pay the price of $79,50
Here’s what Jim Edwards has to say:
“Stuart’s technique imprinted my goal indelibly on my subconscious mind. I don’t think about it, but it’s always there. Everything I’m doing is measured by whether or not I’m moving toward or against my goal. If I’m not doing something moving me towards my goal, my subconscious gets me back on course.
“This is truly a breakthrough for me personally. I am 100% certain I will achieve a bigger financial goal in a shorter time frame than I would have ever thought possible before I learned this technique.
The only negative about this method is, it’s so straightforward, some people may actually discount its power!”
Jim Edwards

I’ll explain it to you as best as I can.
Basically Stuart asks you to keep writing your vision and editing till it feels just perfect – like part of your life. It’s like getting in touch with yourself.
Like having a warm shower in the morning – I love my showers. I hope you get the drift of what I’m getting across.
It’s a long process, not just some little exercise you can do in 15 minutes. You have to put time aside for this to be able to do it properly. Wait for your kids to go to school before you start.
The e-book comes with audios which literally walk you through the process, but as I said make time.
Aaah, that cheesy title:
How to Get Lots of Money for Anything Fast

Here’s what Jack Canfield has to say:
“I strongly recommend this book. It contains keys to success that will guide you past obstacles you thought were insurmountable. I’ve known Stuart Lichtman a long time; his material gets people results. If you have big goals and you’re looking for that one ‘missing piece’ to help you achieve them, read this book and put its solid ideas to work for you.”

The idea about tithing is to give 10% of everything you earn to your spiritual teacher. This is to be seen as your commitment of acknowleding the universe / God / First Cause as your provider. My point is that it shouldn’t stress you, it shouldn’t be a kind of action which you feel you have to do because other wise you will be punished.
Watch this YouTube video. Recognise yourself in any of it?
[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmVpn_BdDSw]
It is old wisdom that says one should give what ever one wants. So for example if you want happiness then give happiness. But one can’t give until one has. But I noticed that in giving happiness it made me extremely happy. An example is giving time to my children and just being silly with them. Makes them laugh and that in turn makes me laugh. It’s a catchy thing.
Don’t make lame excuses. Give from the heart in joy. Only that kind of giving counts.
