Rich Beyond Words

We all know that video says a lot – I mean afterall so many more sense are involved than just reading. Now one can actually see and hear.

I come from the film industry – in my life time I have shot hundreds of professional commercials for Mercedes, BMW, Coco-cola, toilet paper, pizza, washing powder and lawn mowers.

These shoots were all done on a big budget with a full film crew. my responsibility was the art department – which meant preparing the set and organising the props. And as we all know time is money. So I had to be prepared down to the last detail so that on shooting day in the studios we could roll. Inevitably the producer would always be on edge because going overtime cost big bucks.

These days anyone can shoot a video with the simplest means and achieve fantastic results.

Being a curious person I did 2 videos – both of the same product I’m promoting.

I really believe in this product as I use it and swear by the results. I did one video being creative, using strong imagery and sound effects. The 2nd video I filmed myself, being natural, talking about the CD’s.

The 2nd video gets the most results which prooves you don’t need editing skills, a budget or a film crew!

I use Traffic Geyser to distribute videos all over the web. It beats uploading all the videos yourself. Plus there are great tutorials and other tools to help you. If you follow the instructions exactly as they are explained you have a recipe for instant success.

Actually I wanted to title this post – “I fucked up.” because I did in a big way.

As you know I interviewed Marie Forleo who is launching her Rich, Happy & Hot Mastery programme on the 17th March 2009. She’ll be working closely with people for 10 months showing them all the tricks of the trade. This is as good as gets as far as having a personal life coach holding you by the hand and showing you the way for becoming Rich, Happy and Hot.

Seriously who doesn’t want to be Rich, Happy and Hot?

I know it sounds too good to be true. But you see that’s the problem most people think that it’s just not possible and settle into a life of quiet desperation.

Me, I’m just not cut out for desperation of any sort – quiet or loud. Desperation sucks.

But now let me get to the point why I nearly titled this post – I fucked up. Well because I damn forget to press the record button when I interviewed Marie Forleo.

What can I say? I feel totally pissed at myself. Not only that it was such a great interview Marie told me she’s all about living in the now. Don’t waste time thinking about the past and having anxiety attacks about the future. What for? The past is over  – you never gonna get it back and the future still has to come. But if you live in the now you’ll be here and present and the future won’t be something you have to worry about.

Mari who’s also a good looking woman revealed that her looks better idf she doesn’t wash it so much! I like that – too many of us are caught up in media hype about cosmetics that promise to make us shinier, brighter and sexier. Well if you ain’t shining from the inside nothing is gonna fix that.

We also spoke about something one of my mentors taught me: How you do anything is how you do everything.

When you are confronthed with that statement, denial takes over.  On reflection I know it’s true. How you do anything is how you do everything – so think about that for a while.

I guess I am leaving this announcement to the last minute, which is a reason to slap me.

Okay I know I like to blog about attracting money and other good things to yourself.

So I think it’s fine for me to write occasionally about blogging, internet marketing and list building as these are things which can definitely contribute to your wealth.

In this case I have to agree with the Build a Better Blog ladies who say that it’s darn aggravating when people don’t leave their names when commenting. I myself can’t determine either whether to take the comment for real or consider it spam. And how the heck do you reply back to the person?

So I’m guilty of being Richcroc on some places like Twitter, & Science of Getting Rich Forums but every one knows I’m Claudia Apfelthaler. Oh and then there’s the Science of Being Well Forums which I like to hang out at from time to time where I’m registered as Healthcroc.

Hello this is the hottest and most informative internet marketing information available. And it’s FREE.

I know I should have told you about this earlier but I was well, how can I say? I was just having an identity problem can you believe?

Seriously I was having a crisis about my blog and freaking out about which template to use etc. Every time I looked at the darn thing I just hated it. And that of course turned into a whole procrastination scenario – common I’m sure you’ve been there.

Then I totally believed I had to buy myself a camcorder because my webcam doesn’t allow me creativity and bla bla…. Typical procrastination.

Phew, glad I found the wordpress theme I’m using because you know what? it just resonated with me. And I don’t care if other people are using it. The point is I have dreams often that I’m in one of those hot air balloons. This was like wow, here are the pictures in my head in a FREE wordpress theme!

But now back to the 30 day challenge – it’s beginning on the 1st of August 2008 and there’s some preseason stuff you need to catch up with. Stuff like learning about twitter, friendfeed and browsers etc.

Let me just say that I’ve been around some and the 30 day challenge is worth money.

Ed and Dan are more than just nice guys. Ed is on the social front more but Dan’s a clever geek guy and between the two of them you land up with a dynamite package. Also they’re fun which counts loads for me. Because I despise boring big time. So they get my vote for entertaining and informative.

I first discovered Mark Joyner through simpleology.

I was skeptical about the Mind Control Marketing Book because the name sounds so evil.

But knowing that Mark is a no nonsense guy and that I’ve never felt that I’ve been ripped off by him I thought what the hell, I don’t think it will be evil.

Mark has sensed that a lot of people might feel that way and writes about that in the first chapter.  It is not evil to persuade your customer to choose you over thousands of others. I mean that is what business is right?

I’m a believer in the law of attraction which states you must know what you want and then take the action to get you there. The action part is where many people meet “shipwreck” as the grand daddy Wallace Wattles says in his book The Science of Getting Rich which is the book that everybody, including the wisest of the wise seems to have read. Mind Control Marketing will show you how to effectively put together an irrestible offer. This is not about scamsville. This is so in tune with giving people quality service or product.

I’m glad I invested in the $27 for the book. As usual Mark over delivers.

Internet Maketing, Blogging, You Tube, Web 2.0…..

Seems like just everybody is swinging along making a fortune on the Internet. I’ve only just begun to wake up to the opportunity. Observing and heeding alll the guru advice I realise more and more the incredible chances that are out there. As I mentioned on the Sweetie Blog Frank Kern’s videos have been eye opening. You just need to follow the advice. Dang. So easy you just gotta want it badly enough so that you’ll get off your bum and do it.

Of course it’s not that easy especially when you’re surrounded by skeptics. Those are usually the ones closest to you. The unbelievers – you know the ones that say wake up and get a real job. A job where you trade your time for muney. Possibly even have to leave your home.

Why even have a house and a place you love if you go out to slave away each day? I’ve always wanted something better for myself since I was a kid. I couldn’t accept the information that was being pushed down my throat that “Life sucks and then you die”. That to me just seemed like a cruel joke.

When I spoke about my aspirations the people that were doing their best for me, commonly known as parents (God, I love them) I was told it’s good to learn something which will be useful to society. Don’t get me wrong Dr’s, Teachers, Advertising specialists all have their place.  And as for the cruel joke part, I was told to not take it personally. But I did. Very.

I myself was in the advertising and movie industry for years. I’ve had the priviledge of working with wonderful people.

But the stress of being away from home albeit often in the most gorgeous locations was not ideal anymore after 2 miniture people surfaced into my reality.

So going from a job and here and there to sometimes having very little I had to readjust.

Obviously I began searching for information on how to make life more fun and rewarding and to be there for my little mensches. So at about the same time I discovered the metaphysical side of life and the internet dream things looked like life could really be a joy.

I am amazed and grateful for all the excellent information out there. It only requires listening, focusing and implementing the stuff you learn about to see how you can get e-mails telling you you’ve just made a buck. Gotta love it!
